Looking back at the transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 New technologies are never used properly when they are first discovered. This is because they are often used to solve pre-existing problems, rather than to unlock new opportunities. We have seen this time and time again. In the early days of the internet when we were transitioning from web1 to web2, the most popular ideas were digital “yellow pages” or digital “newspapers”. While useful, they did not really make use of the technology.
What it really means to transition from web2 to web3 games
Level 2, point 3. I don't understand. What's the difference brought by Web3?
Great insight!
I would add direct interaction of gamers as they were the owner:
so if the main company sets some protocol user could:
-create quests for other players where they pay the users with their own assets,
-guilds can create daily rewards to guild member (if you connect and do some action you receive rewards
-Salaries for guild member position
Like what you would do for a real economy.
